Join us as we explore the natural places of Gloucester County as described in the 2020 Edition of Natural Places of Gloucester County, a publication of the Gloucester County Nature Club.
Meet at the lower parking lot before the dike. We will walk on the dike about 2 miles out and back. This site offers nice views of wildlife on the Delaware River, and the Commodore Barry Bridge.
This event is free and open to the public.
Directions: From Interstate 295 Exit 14 (Repaupo Station Road), take Repaupo Station Road west. In 0.6 miles it crosses over Route 44 and becomes Floodgates Road. Continue on Floodgates Road another 1.6 miles to a “T” intersection at the river, then turn right. The road then ends at the Riverfront Park parking lot.
