DESCRIPTION:New Jersey has eight species of owls that over-winter in the st
 ate. From the petite Saw-whet to the mighty Great Horned\, owls are primar
 ily nocturnal with excellent eyesight and hearing. This engaging program f
 eatures an assortment of hands-on materials and bird mounts\, and includes
  activities where participants will learn about owl characteristics\, owl 
 habitat\, and owl calls.\n\nPresenter: Michelle Horowitz is an environmen
 tal educator\, avid bird watcher and BirdNation blogger. With an Environme
 ntal Science degree with a natural resources &amp\; conservation concentra
 tion from Southern New Hampshire University she is a teacher-naturalist at
  Rancocas Nature Center and at New Hampshire Audubon. Michelle has a passi
